- 180 grams of nutella (or another cocoa and hazelnut spread) at room temperature.
- 200 milliliters of milk or vegetable drink.
- 150 milliliters of vanilla ice cream.
- Optionally, it can be decorated with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Pour all the ingredients into a food processor or blender . Mix until it is well integrated and with a creamy consistency. Serve in a tall glass or glass and add the ice cream at the end, just before drinking.
How to make a nutella smoothie without ice cream
This is the classic formula for a smoothie made with milk. Ice cream is not used to make this preparation, so the result is a little lighter than the previous one. In addition, it allows you to have a cold version with ice cubes or a hot preparation, ideal for cold or rainy days.
- 270 milliliters of whole cow’s milk are needed. This has much more flavor and texture than a skim. It is also possible to prepare it with any other beverage of choice, be it soy, oatmeal, almond or coconut.
- 80 grams or about 3 tablespoons of your favorite hazelnut and cocoa cream.
- Whipped cream as a topping.
- Optional ice cubes.
Pour the milk and nutella into a food processor. It is preferable that they are at room temperature, since that way they mix much better with each other . If it is necessary to cool it, ice cubes are used. Beat at maximum speed until smooth. Serve in a long glass and decorate with whipped cream on top.
Is there a healthy version?
Almost every possible recipe for this drink is ideal to indulge yourself from time to time. Commercial cocoa creams usually contain large amounts of sugar and even non-recommended vegetable fats. For this reason, it is preferable to opt for a healthier version of this shake.
To do this, you need to spend a little more time in the preparation of the cocoa and hazelnut spread at home. But just a little more dedication is enough and you can have more to be available for a few days.
As in the other recipes, a food processor or mixer is necessary. The steps to follow for a portion are the following:
- Pour 200 milliliters of whole milk or unsweetened vegetable drink into the blender.
- Add 1 heaping tablespoon (about 30 grams) of healthy homemade nutella .
- Add 2 ice cubes and crush everything. It must be well combined and foam must appear on the surface.
